Kuningan Day is celebrated every 210 days or 6 months in Bali calendar, exactly on Saniscara Kliwon Wuku Kuningan. (1 month according Balinese calendar = 35 days)
On this day Ida Sang Hyang Widi down to earth to give blessings for the welfare of all people in the world. Often believed, the ceremony at Kuningan Day should be done before noon, before the time of the Betara back to heaven.
Kuningan is a series of Galungan day, 10 days prior to Kuningan. On this day is made yellow rice, a symbol of prosperity and appreciation of Hindus
